Catherine Veitch

Catherine Veitch has a passion for entertaining, educating and inspiring children through early years fiction, novelty, activity, puzzle, non-fiction and phonic books. She has written over 150 books on topics as varied as pirates, inventions, school, animals, wellbeing, memory techniques, our senses, countries, Sherlock Holmes' brainteasers, dinosaurs, aliens, sea monsters and unicorns! Her children's bedtime story 'Shine Brightly' was a winning entry, read out online by Santa one Christmas. Catherine studied for an English literature and linguistics degree at Sheffield City Polytechnic and for a postgraduate primary teaching certificate at Goldsmiths University, London. When she is not writing, you'll find Catherine on a yoga mat or heading off for an adventure along the coast.
