Cezary Podkul
Cezary Podkul is an investigative reporter with over a decade's experience of publishing stories that hold the powerful to account. Previously, he worked as a reporter at The Wall Street Journal and Reuters where he specialized in data-driven news stories. Since leaving an investment banking career in 2008, his global investigations have spanned finance, business, technology, energy and private equity, among other beats. Today he works as a reporter at ProPublica, focusing on cybercrime and fraud. He is also a lecturer at the School of Journalism & Media at Hong Kong University (where he is based).
He was a finalist for the Gerald Loeb Award for Distinguished Business and Financial Journalism.
