Isabelle Simler

Isabelle Simler is an award-winning French author and illustrator and a graduate of the Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg. Before turning her focus to children's books, she wrote scripts and directed numerous animated productions, notably for French broadcaster M6, and worked extensively in publishing and the press. Since 2012, she has devoted herself to creating children's literature. Her books have been translated into multiple languages and have received widespread international acclaim. In 2022, she was awarded the prestigious Grand Prix de l'Illustration Jeunesse, one of France's leading awards for children's book illustration, recognising the originality and artistic excellence of her work.
