Nicci Martin

Nicci Martin is a children's book illustrator from the vibrant Bo-Kaap neighbourhood in Cape Town. Having started out in the world of advertising, her love for drawing changed the course of her career and she now spends most of her time illustrating in her studio. Nicci uses mixed media combined with stylized geometric shapes, organic textures and bright, flat colours to create her expressive characters and playful environments that connect with young readers and bring stories to life.
