Throughout the title, Dave Goulson's text is highly readable but at no point talks down to its intended 7+ audience making this a great choice at home or in school for budding entomologists. As in all good nonfiction reads there is also a handy glossary at the end which will add hugely to children's understanding of what is a complex and vast subject. . . with Emily Carter's stunning images that capture perfectly just a small sample of these amazing organisms.
