A warm hug of a book that manages to be both joyful and heartbreaking. I loved this story of long buried secrets and a fight for justice that had me cheering and weeping. Freya Sampson's characters were so vividly drawn I felt they were in the room with me and I know Dorothy, Kat and the inhabitants of Shelley House will stay with me for a long time
