Jaco Jacobs is the author of more than 170 books and more than a million copies of his books have been sold. His work has been awarded 40 times. World rights to two of his books were acquired by OneWorld and during 2018 A Good Day for Climbing Trees and A Good Night for Shooting Zombies were released, as well as the Italian translation of A Good Day for Climbing Trees. Both books have been nominated for the Carnegie Medal. Two of his books have been adapted to film with a third in production.

Jaco lives in Bloemfontein with his wife, Elize, their daughters, Mia and Emma, three dogs, a cat and a pet python.


ALEX VAN HOUWELINGEN 

Alex van Houwelingen began drawing at a very young age. After completing a course in Information Design at the University of Pretoria, he decided to pursue as career as freelance illustrator. He enjoys working in a variety of mediums. In 2019 he won an ATKV Children’s Book Award for his illustrations for Spaghetti tussen jou tone. 

Alex lives in Pretoria and is the proud father of two toddlers, Robin and Madelein.
