The story is credibly suspenseful- twisting and turning in unexpected ways, holding the reader's interest throughout.
I really enjoyed the mystery of this horror thriller. . . It felt a little like a cross between an Agatha Christie closed circle mystery and Little Shop of Horrors! There is a running theme of toxic relationships and coercive control, as well as an exploration of ancient Welsh myth, which added interesting extra layers of meaning to the horror storyline.
