Welcome to the Killer Lines Crime Festival!
In the quaint English town of Hoslewit, the biggest names in crime writing have gathered to celebrate all things bookish and murderous at the Killer Lines Crime Festival. Author Jane Hepburn is determined this is going to be her year. She hasn't quite reached the heady heights of the bestseller lists yet, and her editor isn't returning her calls, but Jane is convinced that if she can just make the right connections at the festival, it could be the start of a whole new chapter.
When the body of a literary agent is found dead in the bookshop tent, Jane's plans are derailed and it's beginning to feel like she's caught up in the plot of one of her own books - only with much higher stakes. But if she, and some new friends, can solve the murder, perhaps it will provide the boost her writing career needs?
If Jane lives to tell the tale, that is...
"A wicked, wicked book" - Vaseem Khan

Reviews
Funny, sharply observed and fiendishly clever.
Wickedly funny modern cosy with so many twists you'll get whiplash.
With a sympathetic protagonist and a cast of suitably obnoxious suspects, E.C. Nevin's eviscerating portrait of modern publishing is couched within an immensely readable mystery. Rarely will the industry feel so seen. A wicked, wicked book.
Wise, witty and tremendously fun, E.C. Nevin's A NOVEL MURDER is a must-read for anyone who's ever attended/fancied attending a crime fiction festival. The characters and their motives for murder are all too recognisable, sometimes painfully so! 5 stars.
