Return to a hidden realm of Japanese folklore with Anzu - an atmospheric graphic novel from a Carnegie-nominated illustrator, for fans of RUNE and 5 WORLDS
After her adventure in the spirit world of Yomi, Anzu is settling back into regular life. But fitting in with her new friend group feels a lot harder than battling vengeful mythical monsters. Luckily, her best friend, Fig, is always looking out for her, even if it makes Anzu feel like a burden.
Then, at a sleepover, a wild-eyed beast known as the Dream Eater crashes through the walls between worlds to steal her friends' souls, and Anzu wakes in time only to watch helplessly. Chasing after it, Anzu is transported to Yoru-no-Osukuni, the Realm of Night. There, she's reunited with her old friend Limbo the Gatekeeper, who has troubles of his own. The Dream Eater, it seems, has been wreaking havoc in more worlds than one.
Together, Anzu and Limbo must escape furious spirits, find the missing Moon Sovereign and return the stolen souls to Anzu's friends before it's too late. But spending time in the magical Nightingale Palace makes them question whether the waking world is really worth returning to when they can have whatever they want in the dream world . . .
