Reunion at the Tea Garden

A mysterious photograph. A family secret. A search for the truth.

Sammy has spent her childhood torn from the lush tea gardens of Assam to a boarding school in England. The second world war is over and India has won its independence, but she fears for her family and loved ones left behind. When Christmas brings the opportunity to go home, she cannot wait. This will be the reunion she has been yearning for. Finally, she will be with her mother and beloved grandmother, Clarissa.

But when an old photo comes to light, revealing a long-held secret about her mother, Sammy is filled with hurt and recrimination. Desperate to find the truth, she goes in search of answers.
